Yehyun Suh
Yehyun is an NIH F31 Predoctoral Fellow and a Ph.D. student in Computer Science at Vanderbilt University and an affiliated student at VISE(Vanderbilt Institute for Surgery and Engineering) and VALIANT(Vanderbilt Lab for Immersive AI Translation).
He conducts his research in the VINE (Vision Information Neuroimaging Engineering) Laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Moyer. He also collaborates closely with Dr. J. Ryan Martin in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. Yayun Du in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Vanderbilt University, and Dr. Alexander P. Hughes from Hospital of Special Surgery. His research focuses on machine learning and computational methods across medical image registration and analysis, computer vision, and IMU-based time-series data. In addition to his research, Yehyun serves as Vice President of the Korean Graduate Students and Scholars Association (KSSA) and as Treasurer of VALIANT.
Prior to his graduate studies, Yehyun received his undergraduate degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Dongguk University, where he conducted research under the supervision of Dr. Woongsup Kim.
